Last Summer's Hikes

Were the hikes I hiked last summer the last I'll ever hike?

HIKE NO.

But I never posted pictures of them, so here we go:

*********************************************************************************
"The Antenna" hill above the Avenues on a bright sunny day.  Also, a Sego Lily!

Red Pine Lake on a rainy day, complete with glacier and clouds on mountains!

The next hike was a little mountain right next to Grandeur Peak, and Emma went with us.  We also saw, straight from O Brother Where Art Thou, a horny toad.

A week or so afterwards, we hiked to another little fishing lake with Brad and Michelle and Carol and Austin.  It was gorgeous, so fun, and at one point we got attacked by a huge windstorm that lasted less than 15 minutes:

Maybe you think that we always wear the same clothes when we hike.  Well, we do.  I mean, I rotate my blue Aggie tees and Aaron's got a few similar red shirts, but, yeah.  It's a uniform.

So that was last summer.  But, it won't be the last summer.  We have lots more hikes planned, both with and without baby... the fun and tradition won't end!

I liked the video. And the whispering. And the mosquitoes.

Also, the picture of you in front of the lake.

Also, what about this hike and the foreshadowing?
